PUBG Promises to Improve Game as Fears to be Ban in INDIA


PUBG Corporation is a sister company of South Korean videogame giant Bluehole. It was firstly launched on web platform in the late 2017 and reached App version in March’18. Currently, it has approx. 30 million user bases globally.
PUBG Mobile India Series was recently held and have a cash prize of 1 Crore Indian Rupees. There are competition and championship being held in schools, college and even at the national level. The winner of these types of competitions caches good prizes and recently hundreds of people streaming on YouTube online and earning money.
In recent days things have not been easy for Player’s Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) in India. There have been a lot of allegations filed for affecting players because of the addictive nature of the game layer.
Backlashes’!
In recent months, PUBG is criticized by Indian parents, government, schools, and colleges as the crime are occurring day by day all over the country. Reports say that it is the continuous reason for suicide, poor results in studies, violence and other crimes among different age groups.
There are reports over PUBG ban. Earlier in Feb. an 11-year school boy reportedly filed a PIL through his mother in Bombay HC seeking a ban on PUBG. The PIL says this game promotes violence, aggression, bullying etc. In the same month, a teenage boy killed himself in Mumbai as a result of the denial of new smartphone purchase for playing PUBG mobile game.

Many citizens all over India sought for a ban of this multi-player online game; Gujarat has implemented this demand for its primary school students. The govt. official said that the game affects the studies of young students negatively. Some state and government officials along with parents want a total ban on PUBG.
On Jan 29, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing an event "Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0" with the students, parents, and teachers a class 9 students parent asked how to control the growing addiction of online games. PM replied that as "Ye PUBG Wala Hai Kya?" and mentioned that parents need to learn and take some interest in technology so that they can help the child. He also mentioned that there should be counter-balance as technology has its own positives and negatives.

PUBG Responded Positively!
After facing a lot of criticism PUBG official   released a statement in this regarding. The official said,” We always want to deliver the best possible gaming experience to our fans and player, we also believe it is extremely important to be a responsible member of this community. They also added that their team is working along with educators, parents, and government institutions to make an effective improvement in its app.
